Cellular mobile communications system

摘要

The mobile communications system has a number of base stations coupled to respective base station control units which are interconnected via an asynchronous transfer mode cable network. The transmission of data for all services is effected via the radio interfaces between the base stations and the mobile stations via the asynchronous transfer mode layer. A logic link control layer is used for error correction using a hybrid combination of forward error correction and automatic repeat request, for fulfilling the parameters for the maximum delay and loss rate of the asynchronous transfer mode cells for each service.
