Compensating coupling between machine element and hollow shaft

The coupling has two halves joined by the pairing of angularly flexible members (8) for transmitting torque in the form of a denture clutch (12,14). The coupling half joined to the hollow shaft is formed by a coupling shaft (13) which has one side of the pairing on one end. It is joined to the hollow shaft on its shaft end on the other side of the pair of members. The coupling shaft extends inside the hollow shaft over the majority of its length. The hollow and coupling shafts are joined by a detachable, rigid coupling (14).
