PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the density of terminal metal fittings when a connector has the same number of terminal parts as a flat cable, and facilitate a connecting work. SOLUTION: This connector has opening side terminal metal fittings 30 and back surface side terminal metal fittings 40 installed from the opening surface side and back surface side of a casing 20 having a slit-like opening 21, respectively. Since they can be conductively continued to terminal parts 13 on the respective surfaces in a flat cable 10 within the opening 21, lead pieces 32, 42 are drawn in different directions in the outside of the casing 20 to reduce the density, whereby the mounting work to a printed circuit board is facilitated.
