PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the adjustment standard values on a monitor and keep the quality of properties of cathode-ray tubes constant by inputting a relation expression between a cathode-ray tube characteristics an fluctuation factors which affect the characteristics into a control system and inputting actual measured values of the factors at the time of adjustment. SOLUTION: Two points of a major axis indicating three o'clock and nine o'clock are used as adjustment standard points for a screen of a bulb 1. The different quantity y of electron beam to phosphor dots detected by a camera 7 for landing measurement and the bulb temperature x have a relation; y=x-25 in the case a monometal material is used for a spring material for a shadow mask.
