摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the adjustment standard values on a monitor and keep the quality of properties of cathode-ray tubes constant by inputting a relation expression between a cathode-ray tube characteristics an fluctuation factors which affect the characteristics into a control system and inputting actual measured values of the factors at the time of adjustment. SOLUTION: Two points of a major axis indicating three o'clock and nine o'clock are used as adjustment standard points for a screen of a bulb 1. The different quantity y of electron beam to phosphor dots detected by a camera 7 for landing measurement and the bulb temperature x have a relation; y=x-25 in the case a monometal material is used for a spring material for a shadow mask. The data 6 is stored as a program in a control system 3. In the case the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 8 is 20 deg.C, y=20-25=-5μm. This result becomes a standard value of the landing property of the bulb 1 and displayed as a standard range 12 on a monitor 4. An adjusting operator so adjusts the position of a deflecting yoke as to keep the actual value 11a of the electron beam within the range 12.
