摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubricity in a ball bearing in which at least one raceway surface of an inner ring and an outer ring is angularly brought into contact with a ball at two points, by forming the depth of at least one raceway surface different in its right and left sides. SOLUTION: A tour-point contact ball bearing is used under such a condition that the magnitude of an axial load applied to a bearing is different in right and left, and the raceway surfaces 1a, 2a of an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 are angularly brought into contact with a ball 3 at two points. The outside diameter of this inner ring 1 is so formed that its left sideϕA on which an axial load becomes larger is large, and its right sideϕB on which the axial load becomes smaller is small. While, the inside diameter of the outer ring 2 is so formed that its right sideϕC on which the axial load becomes larger is small, and its left sideϕD on which the axial load becomes smaller is large. This ball bearing is thusly formed, thereby, for example, lubricant oil P supplied from a space between the outside diametral surfaceϕB of the right side of the inner ring 1 and the inside diametral surface of a retainer 4, is passed through the inside of a bearing, passed through a space between the inside diametral surfaceϕD of the left side of the outer ring 2 and the outside diameteral surface of the retainer 4, and easily led to flow into the outside of the bearing.
