The cistern (1) is made of plastic and the installation device (6) together with the film hinge (7) is of one-piece construction with the cistern, being produced in one work process, involving injection moulding or extrusion blowing. The installation device is tab-shaped and is pivotable around the film hinge. The installation device by pivoting around the film hinge can be transferred from a transport position in which it locates on a wall of the cistern into an installation position in which it projects outwards from the cistern. In the installation position, the device extends parallel to a rear wall of the cistern.
