The pump (1) has a housing (2) with a cropped space (7) having a pair of claw rotors (5,6) with inter-meshed rotational movement. Entrance and exit kidneys are located at a distal end of the cropped space where they are connected to channels, and are controlled by the kidneys. A depression (23) is provided in the distal wall of the cropped space opposing the exit kidney. This depression equips the rotor (6) allocated to the exit kidney with an axial opening (26) which is located in such a way that in the last phase of the closure function and/or in the first phase of the opening function of the exit kidney, the axial opening connects the opposing depressions (15,23) together.
