The shafts (3,4) include an angle, while the ropes (5,6) can be arranged to run between the wheels (1,2) without emerging from the grooves (7,8) or bearing against their edges at the changeover. They can be pre-tensioned, so that will not hang loose under load. Wheels of different diameters can be used to give the desired velocity ratio. |
