The filler port has a duct (12) with the filler opening closed by an articulated flap (36). The flap has an external plate (48) movably mounted on the external side of the main body (50) of the flap. The external plate has a spring (52) to return it to a rest position in which it can be displaced inwardly by the filler pistol to uncover a guide surface (70) for the pistol when the latter forces the flap open. The force necessary to move the external plate from its rest to its tilted position, against the spring (52) is less than that necessary to cause opening of the flap against a first return spring (44).
