发明名称 Improved optical recording material
摘要 Improved optical recording material comprises at least two different kinds of recording substance. Each recording substance contains molecules bound to at least one base polymer chain, which have properties such that their characteristic absorption spectra change when they absorb light having a specific wavelength. The optical recording material is obtd. by mixing these different recording substances and forming them into a recording medium. Hence the recording medium enables multiple information to be recorded by using light of a number of different wavelengths. The base polymer can be a methacrylic polymer, a polycarbonate polymer or a polyamide polymer. The spectral changes result from the occurrence of a photochromism or a photochemical reaction, particularly from a photochemical hole burning reaction (PHB). The photochemical hole burning molecule can be a phthalocyanine, an aminoacridine, a porphyrin, an alkali halide etc.
