Reinforcing structure for animal hoofs, e.g. horseshoes

The reinforcement comprises a horseshoe (3) pressed onto a coating of bio-compatible paste-like synthetic resin mass (4,5). The resin mass is made from a two-component material which is cold and quick-setting. All the damaged parts of the hoof, including old nail areas, are treated and cleaned and filled with the synthetic mass which is then set with the horseshoe.
