FIELD: aviation; designing of rescue facilities for flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: emergency braking device for high-speed flying vehicle has pivoted lever with swivel hub fitted on its end. Secured on this hub are blades. According to invention, pivoted lever has stops provided with springs for fixed turn of lever till contact of stops with fuselage. Pivoted lever is provided with drive. Lever is connected with this drive by means of rope with pulley in such way that rope keeps lever in fixed position and releases it due to engagement of drive at the beginning of braking. Blade tips are directed forward and are held in folded position by means of shroud with drive. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of braking. 4 dwgh
