PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method and system for restricting the current of the read/write head pull-in circuit. SOLUTION: This system includes a temp. sensor 75 for sensing a temp. of the read/write head pull-in circuit 53 in the disk device. An output signal for showing whether this temp. is higher than a threshold temp. or not is generated by the temp. sensor 75. The system includes also a voltage adjuster 100 for impressing a voltage upon an actuator motor 54. An input signal operationally related to the output signal of the temp. sensor 75 is received, and the voltage to be impressed upon the actuator motor 54 is adjusted in response to this signal by the voltage adjuster 100. The system includes a hysteresis circuit 88 for adjusting the threshold temp. when the output of the temp. sensor 75 is so changed to require this adjustment. The system is prevented from haleidoscopically varying around the threshold temp. of the temp. sensor 75 by the hysteresis circuit 88, so as to avoid useless wear of parts of the system.
