A photopolymerizable composition is disclosed, comprising i) an addition polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, ii) a sensitizing dye represented by the following formula (I) and iii) a titanocene compound: <IMAGE> hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an alkenyl group, R3, R4, R5 and R6 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group or an alkoxycarbonyl group, R1 and R2 may be combined with each other to form a ring together with the nitrogen atom or R1 and R5 or R2 and R3 may be combined with each other to form a ring together with the carbon atoms and the nitrogen atom, R3 and R4 or R5 and R6 may be combined with each other to form a ring together with the two carbon atoms, X1 represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, and n represents 0, 1 or 2.
