DC/AC converter

The converter has a busbar system carrying semiconductor valves (FETs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, etc.) and a condenser battery, connected to the valves, which can be connected to a DC source. The valves are driven to generate a multiphase output voltage in the branches of a bridge. The phase voltages can be tapped off a busbar for each branch. All the valves of parallel half-branches of the bridge are located on a first busbar. The valves of the other half-branches of the bridge, per phase, are located on a separate busbar; where the respective phase voltage can be tapped off. If the valves are MOSFETs, the drain terminal is connected to a metal lug of the transistor housing and all the valves are located not only on the first busbar, but also on the separate busbars, with their lugs directly on them.
