PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively receive navigational information of different kinds according to the need by switch-selecting a receiving condition of a receiving means according to a reduced scale of map information selected with a map display means and receiving the information of the different kinds at the receiving means. SOLUTION: A CPU 4 corrects the position data when the position data of a present place are sent from a GPS block 2 at a road traveling time together with the data showing other heights, times, etc., by using error information sent from an FM multiplex receiver 11 and an FM multiplex data processing/ tuning control part 12, and calls out the map data of the present place periphery at an optional reduced scale from a CD block 6 through a CPU peripheral circuit G/A 9 to send out them to a graphic controller 17 as the display data. On the other hand, when traffic information is sent through the control part 12 and when the reduced scale of the map displayed at the point of time is within the range of answering to VICS, the traffic information is developed to be sent to the controller 17 and to be made link to the display data of a video RAM 16. |
