摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a sheet which has excellent durability, stability, and thermal efficiency and facilitates handling by coating a textile body with insulating resin, which is woven with electrode conductor consisting of a metal wire plated with different type metal and glass fiber used as warp, and with carbon fiber serving as a resistance heating element and the glass fiber used as weft. SOLUTION: An electrode conductor 4 and a glass fiber 2 are woven as warp, and a carbon fiber 3 and the glass fiber 2 are woven as weft. An obtained textile body is coated with insulating resin, such as epoxy resin, and is fixed to obtain a surfaced heating element sheet 1. For the electrode conductor 4, a metal wire plated with different type metal, or its bundle is used. It is desirable, for example, tinned copper wire should be used. For the carbon fiber 3, it is preferable to use a continuous carbon filament which hardly causes an electric resistance change. If necessary, glass fiber textile is layered at one side or both sides of the sheet, and is hardened integrally for higher durability. By forming a circuit forming terminal and an insulating reinforcing material, such as rubber, at the sheet 1, it is possible to obtain a surfaced heating element with high waterproofing and flexibility.
