FIELD: by-pass flowmeters. SUBSTANCE: flowmeter may be used for measuring of medium total flow Q passing through main pipe. Tapered member is positioned at narrowed place (throttle) of main pipe for moving relative to it due to force created by spring depending on pressure difference at narrowed place. Measuring device is installed in by-pass pipe. Electronic signal converter compensates for deviation in proportionality of measured part of flow dQ to total flow. Flowmeter dynamics (Q<SB>max</SB>/Q<SB>min</SB>) exceeds 1000:1, where Q<SB>max</SB>, Q<SB>min</SB> are maximum and minimum total flows. EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement. 4 cl, 8 dwg
