PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the construction cost of equipment and the time and labor for installation. SOLUTION: Air conditioners in one system constructed by connecting one or a plurality of indoor units 104-11-104-34 to outdoor units 102-1-102-3 through refrigerant pipings 103-1-103-3 are provided in a plurality of systems, and the outdoor and indoor units in all the systems are connected by communication lines L. The outdoor unit 102-3 is equipped with a remote relay means 30 for giving and receiving signals through the communication lines L. A remote control means 101 which outputs instruction signals for controlling operations of the air conditioners is connected to the remote relay means 30. A setting means for selecting and setting either a discrete control for controlling operations of the air conditioners of one system or a collective control for controlling operations of the air conditioners of all the systems, according to the instruction from the remote control means 101, is provided. |
