Pipe wrench with variable jaw width

The pipe wrench has two crossed arms (1, 2) forming handle sectors (6, 7) on one side of the crossing region (3) and the jaws (5) on the other. The arms are connected by a bolt (4). The jaw setting is altered by the setting of the arms against each other in the crossing region. The re is also a rocker (15) moving relative to the bolt and pivoted to an operating lever (35). The rocker has teeth (17) sprung against counter-teeth (18). The movement between the rocker and the operating lever is stopped by a limiting stop before the maximum jaw opening is reached.
