PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muddy earth pressure shield construction method separating discharged and digged sediment generated by the muddy earth pressure shield construction method into sand and gravel and muddy soil by utilizing coagulation reaction and including a digged sediment separation method. SOLUTION: Viscosity improver and gelatinizer causing coagulation reaction with the viscosity improver are fed to a wording face K in front of a shield machine S to dig a working face K face by mixing and stirring with digged sediment, and then the discharged digged containing the viscosity improver and gelatinizer are conveyed. In this case, gelatinizer is further mixed with the discharged and digged sediment while the discharged and digged sediment are conveyed to separate the discharged and digged sediment into sand and gravel and muddy soil.
