PURPOSE: An eco-ditch is provided to improve spatial efficiency by considering ecological elements to the maximum and reduce the residual organism and coloring of river water. CONSTITUTION: An eco-ditch comprises an artificial ditch(101), a natural filtering outflow path, a filter soil layer, and a vegetation part. The artificial ditch is formed as a zigzag line in a river side. The natural filtering outflow path is formed as a tunnel lengthwise in the bottom of the artificial ditch. The filter soil layer is filled with granite soil and volcanic rock on the top of the natural filtering outflow path, in which bio-decomposition occurs. The vegetation part is formed by planting aquatic plant in the filter soil layer. |
