PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-chair which is easily manufacturable and allows anyone to take a resting attitude not causing uncomfortable feeling irrespective of individual difference between persons seated. SOLUTION: A seat back 1 and seat face 2 are both formed from hard material. The seat back 1 has convex surface 11 whose reference surface A is positioned at an angleαbetween 10-50 deg. to a horizontal plane L and max. height is 0.3-1.3 cm over the reference surface and which is arranged so that its highest portion is located at a distance between 0-20 cm from the reference point O as the intersection of the seat face reference surface with the seat back reference surface and a concave surface 12 which has a max. depth of 0.3-1.3 cm with respect to the reference surface and whose deepest portion lies at a distance of 35-55 cm from the reference point O. The seat face 2 has a concave surface 21 whose reference surface B is positioned at an angleβbetween 5-25 deg. to horizontal plane L and max. depth is between 0.3-2.0 cm from the seat face reference surface and which is arranged so that its deepest portion lies at a distance 0-15 cm ahead of the reference point O.
