FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to treatment of bed by means of shock waves and vibration. According to method, pressure in liquid which fills well is changed simultaneously in two interperpendicular directions lying in plane of lateral cross-section of well. Along first direction, pressure is increased in both sides from point at which directions cross each other. Along second direction, pressure is reduced in both sides towards point at which directions cross each other. Period of changing pressure up to amplitude value is limited and is preset to be shorter than period of relaxing pressure in liquid. Directions of pressure changing are rotated around axis of well with repeating pressure changing process. Application of aforesaid method increases coefficient of transmitting energy of shock wave through walls of well into medium which surrounds well. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 1 dwg
