PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and miniaturize the design of the constitution associated with the starting of an engine in the vehicle driving system which concurrently uses both the engine and wheel motors. SOLUTION: The power of an auxiliary-machinery battery 20 is boosted by a DC/DC converter 32 to be accumulated into a capacitor 24. Through the power of the capacitor 24, wheel motors 26 generate assist driving forces. A starter motor 44 for starting an engine 10 is connected with the capacitor 24 present on the boosting side of the DC/DC converter 32. When starting the engine 10 by the boosting function of the DC/DC converter 32, the power fed from the auxiliary-machinery battery 20 is converted into power, having the required voltage for starting the engine 10 to accumulate it in the capacitor 24. Having the DC/DC converter 32 and the capacitor 24 of existent constituent components utilized, the supplying voltage to the starter motor 44 can be set freely. By making the supplying voltage high, the starter motor 44 can be miniaturized. |
