PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely carry out hanging work of a material to be hung. SOLUTION: A bracket shaped hanging metal fitting main body 2 is integratedly formed from one metal plate material by press forming, and a hexagon nut N is inserted into a nut member holding part E of the hanging metal fitting main body 2 for screwing a hanging bolt B. Since a connecting plate part 2a, a ceiling plate part 2b, and a reinforcing plate part 2c for composing the hanging metal fitting main body 2 are connected to each other in a seamless condition, connecting parts of each plate part 2a to 2c are not separated from each other under hanging work, and thereby, safety is obtained. Furthermore, since the hexagon nut N inserted into a nut member holding part is held not freely to rotate, the hexagon nut N is smoothly screwed around a hanging bolt B.
