PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an enclosed motor-driven compressor protector which can be attached surely and easily. SOLUTION: A metal connection member 3 is electrically welded and fixed to a metal container 2A of a protector 2 of a protective device 1 which is attached to cluster block 6 of an enclosed motor-driven compressor. The connection member 3 has wall parts 3C on both its sides, and retainers 3D which retain protrusions 6A of the cluster block 6 are provided on the tips of the wall parts 3C. A terminal is fixed to one end of the connection member 3, and the terminal is inserted into the terminal insertion hole 6B of the cluster block 6 to position and fix the protective device at the same time. By making the retainers 3D retain the surface of the cluster block, the lifting of the connection member 3, etc., can be avoided, and it not necessary to provide a special holding part, etc., on the cluster block 6.
