PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a desired recording picture and a photograph image as a specified time display picture such as an opening picture. SOLUTION: When the opening picture of user registration is registered, priority is given to the display. When a user starts a camera (V0), it is checked whether the opening picture of user registration exists or not (V1) and when it exists, the picture data (user registration opening picture) is taken out from a picture recording memory and it is reproduced. Then, it is displayed on a display part 7 for prescribed time. When prescribed time passes, the display of the opening picture terminates (V2). When the opening picture of user registration does not exist, opening picture data (maker registration opening picture) of maker registration is taken out and it is reproduced. Then, it is displayed on the display part 7 for prescribed time. When prescribed time passes, the display of the opening picture terminates (V3).
