摘要

FIELD: electrical engineering; terminating cables including multiconductor ones. SUBSTANCE: cable lug has several (at least two) grooves or passes for cable impression by making hexahedral contour over each pass at different impression forces and preset diameter for each pass as indicated by permissible range of current densities in terms of temperature rise DELTAT determined by temperature Tr due to current carried by conductor and temperature rise DELTAT = Tc+Tr due to contact resistance at conductor-to-lug transition. Terminating device provides for desired tightness by mechanical impression of multiconductor cables incorporating more or less than specified number of cable conductors.
