PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion testing apparatus which can more highly accurately measure the diffusion coefficient of a sample. SOLUTION: First shear cells 16 and second shear cells 17 are alternately laminated, each holding a first sample A in a sample set hole 20. Third shear cells 18 and fourth shear cells 19 are alternately layered, each holding a second sample B in a sample set hole 20. Driving key grooves 14a and braking key grooves 15 are formed so that, at a position of an angle 0 of a driving shaft 12, adjacent first samples A and adjacent second samples B agree with each other in position respectively, while the first sample A and second samples B are different in position. Moreover, at a position of an angle -αof the driving shaft 12, the first samples A and second samples B all mutually agree in position, and at a position of an angle +αof the driving shaft 12, all sample set holes 20 adjacent to each other disagree in a circumferential direction.
