PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily usable control device which surely enables locking and unlocking according to an operator's will even if malfuction is caused in each element of a control circuit in the control circuit for a lock driving motor used in a two-wheeler such as bicycle or the like for opening and closing an anti-theft lock. SOLUTION: In addition to driving circuits 4, 6 for driving a lock driving motor 1, a motor control device is provided with a detecting means 12 for detecting running and a by-pass circuit 10 for intercepting current application to the motor 1 according to a detection signal obtained by the detecting means 12, whereby running is detected by the detecting means 12 and during running, the current application to the motor 1 is intercepted by the by-pass circuit 10. Thus, even if malfunction is caused in each element of the circuit 10, lock and unlock can be surely performed.
