The arrangement has a demand feeding station with a suction nipple (18) and a mixer (12) connected to the suction nipple via a delivery line. A temp. sensor mounted in or on the nipple is coupled to a process controller for the mixer. The process controller controls the temp. of the liquid fodder in the mixing vessel (28) depending on the temp. measured by the temp. sensor.
