PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress pressure fluctuation by providing a throttle member on a leaked fuel discharging hole for communicating a spring member for housing a needle valve operating spring of a fuel injection valve, with a fuel supplying chamber, in an unit injector wherein a fuel injection pump is arranged upward and the fuel injection valve is continuously arranged downward. SOLUTION: Fuel supplied from a fuel pump of an outside to a plunger chamber of a fuel injection pump 1 is compressed to high pressure by a plunger 1A which is vertically performed in reciprocation through a tappet cooperated with a cam, and is supplied to a fuel injection valve 2 bypassing a fuel passage 21. When a needle valve 14 is pushed up with fuel pressure against a spring 19, fuel is injected from an injection hole 11. In this case, a spring chamber 22 and a fuel supplying chamber 24 are communicated with a leaked fuel discharging hole 25 and a connecting passage 26, and a throttle member 101 having a throttle hole 102 is positioned on the leaked fuel discharging hole 25 locking at a screw part formed on a circumferential surface. It is thus possible to absorb pressure fluctuation in the fuel supplying chamber 24 so as to improve reliability.
