PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifouling coating composition which can be stored for a long period of time and effectively prevent adhesion of various marine organisms to the surface of the bottom outside plating of a marine vessel, and the like, which is below sea level. SOLUTION: This antifouling coating compositions comprise, as the components, (A) a binder having an acid value of 40-450 KOHmg/g composed of (a) a carboxyl group-containing low acid value resin having an acid value of 20-190 KOHmg/g and (b) a carboxyl group-containing high acid value resin having an acid value of 200-550 KOHmg/g at a mixing weight ratio of (a) to (b) of 1/9 to 9/1, (B) a metal-containing stainproofing agent, and (C) a carboxyl group-containing monobasic acid or its metallic soap.
