PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shutter curtain from being opened from the outside. SOLUTION: There is provided a shutter device 10 which is constructed such that a motor 20 is driven in one direction or in the other direction, in response to a closure signal or an opening signal from a control device 90, whereby a shutter curtain 12 closes or opens an opening portion 26 by the drive of the motor 20 in the one direction or in the other direction. In the shutter device 10, when a detecting means detects that the shutter curtain 12 is opened without receiving the opening signal, the control device 90 drives the motor 20 in the one direction, to thereby close the shutter curtain 12.
