PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold device capable of smoothly and reliably assembling a scaffold even in a narrow space part such as the inside of a furnace of a thermal power plant. SOLUTION: In this scaffold device, vertical frames 11 collapsible in a zigzag shape in the lateral direction are formed by successively connecting a plurality of gate-shaped frames 1 composed of front/rear leg rods 2 and a horizontal rod so that mutual upper/lower end parts of the front/rear leg rods 2 in the vertically adjacent gate-shaped frames 1 can freely bend, these building frames 11 are oppositely arranged in a pair, a set of scaffold units 11 are formed by respectively installing scaffold plates 13 between a pivot arranged in the bending center of a connecting part 12 bending in the rightward direction and a pivot arranged in the bending center of a connecting part 12 bending in the leftward direction, and these scaffold units 11 are connected by at least two sets by an interval holding member 15 being symmetrically arranged so that the connecting parts 12 of the same height position bend in the mutually opposite directions and having the same length as the mutual pivots in a pivot folding-up state in the connecting parts 12 bending in the mutually separating direction in the same height position.
