PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile having the structure capable of completely protecting a surface part from stains or flaws. SOLUTION: In a roof tile 10a in which waterproof ribs 13a, 14a are projected from a rear edge part of a roof tile surface, and a curved part 12a and a fitting projecting part 16a are provided on one side edge part of the roof tile surface and on the other side edge part, respectively, a fitting recessed part is provided on a rear side of the curved part 12a, the waterproof ribs 13a, 14a and the fitting projecting part 16a are substantially flush, a rear reinforcement rib 18a is projected from a rear edge part of a roof tile rear side, a forward reinforcement rib 18a is projected from a forward edge part, and when roof tiles are stacked in the vertical direction, the near reinforcement rib 18a and the forward reinforcement rib 18a are brought into contact with the waterproof ribs 13a, 14a, and the fitting projecting part 16a, respectively, and a face side of a lower roof tile is not brought into contact with a near side of an upper roof tile.
