PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To nondestructively, efficiently and accurately measure the thickness of small-diameter piping installed in a narrow and limited environment. SOLUTION: A magnet roller 10 associated with a thickness measuring ultrasonic probe 5 is brought into close contact with a small diameter piping 1 to be measured such as, for example, 20 A (27.2 mm) or below and held, and the thickness of the piping 1 is measured while rotating the roller 1. The probe 5 is mounted at a probe jig 8 in a direction perpendicular to the piping 1, and the jig 8 is connected to a turning towing wire 12 and moved to a measuring point by operating the wire 12.
