<p>A device for positioning of electric drill is used in building construction for roof covering first of all by profiled metallic face roofing or some other kind of profiled roofing, such as asbestos-cement elements. Long wood screws or screws for concrete are used to fix this kind of roofing elements. Two problems occur when drilling holes for the elements by means of hand electric drills: a) inaccurate positioning when drilling on the top (in the middle) of the ridge (convex part) of the respective wave of the roofing element, and b) drill holes are usually not at the right angle to the roofing or to the underlaying roof structure elements. Therefore, roofers have problems when driving screws into the mentioned elements. The problem of inaccurate drilling of holes for fixing screws for the profiled roofing elements is solved by the device according to the invention in such a manner that the electric drill (V) is clamped or inserted into a suitably shaped bushing (1) which is guided on two sliding guiding rails (2', 2'') in the direction of drilling, the twist drill being additionally guided by a drilling bushing (3), whereas the complete device according to the invention and the respective electric drill is positioned (in the middle of the ridge of the each time available roofing wave) by means of two positioning feet (4', 4'') which are clinging to the root of the each time available profiled roofing (5). The mentioned feet (4', 4'') force the drilling device to attain a perpendicular position with regard to the longitudinal direction of the roofing.</p> |
