PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin composition containing titanium dioxide and excellent in masking tendency and whiteness, and to obtain a molded product by using such a resin composition. SOLUTION: This resin composition for coloring use is obtained by using a thermoplastic resin and titanium dioxide 0.20-0.25μm and <=0.45μm in 50% weight-cumulative size and 90% weight-cumulative size, respectively, as a result of particle size distribution determined by centrifugal sedimentation method. The other objective molded product is obtained by using the above resin composition.
