PURPOSE: An optical pickup servo system is provided to use a single remote controller for selecting a channel by assigning functions of a multimedia system to logic channels, thereby improving the convenience of use. CONSTITUTION: An optical pickup servo system includes a remote controller(1) for selecting a channel, a remote receiver(2) for receiving signals from the remote controller, a channel selection circuit(3) for tuning a channel selection signal received from the remote receiver, a central processing unit(4) for carrying out operation of programs, a ROM(5) for storing operation programs, a control logic(6) for outputting control signals, an MPEG decoder(7) for decoding compression motion pictures, a RAM(8) for storing audio/video data, and a connection element(15) connected to an external equipment and receiving control signals.
