PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positional adjustment of the magnet center of a magnetic circuit part in a fluid bearing motor. SOLUTION: This fluid bearing motor 10, formed by mounting a magnet 16 on a hub 11 fitted on a support shaft 14 via a dynamic-pressure bearing 15 and mounting a motor coil 17 on the support shaft 14 through a hole 17A, is provided with a positioning adjustment mechanism 20, having a stationary washer 22 and a movable washer 23 on the threaded rod part 21 of the leg part of the support shaft 14. By turning the movable washer 23 around the threaded rod part 21 to change the contact condition of mating surfaces 22A, 23A formed as an inclined surface, axial positioning for the supporting shaft 14 of the motor coil 17 can be conducted.
