PURPOSE: A keyphone system having a flash memory is provided to carry out the modification of a system program without the necessity of disassembling the system when the modification of the program is required. CONSTITUTION: A keyphone system having a flash memory(12) is composed of a single main board(10). A main control part(11) controls all the control objects in the main board(10). The flash memory(12), in which a NAND type flash memory card is embedded so that data can be preserved without power, is fixed by a socket on the main board(10) and is driven by a flash memory driver(13). A boot ROM(14), in which a program and data necessary to start up the system are stored, boots the system if the system is turned on. A RAM(15), a memory to temporarily store data, drives the driver(13) by the control of the control part(11) and starts the program according to the control of the control part(11) after storing the data of the flash memory(12).
