PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a lower frame of window sash for two-by-four dwelling house capable of eliminating a height difference of an entrance. SOLUTION: A sash lower frame installation space where underfloor extension materials 11 are not present is formed between the step-free upper surface of an end joist 7 and the lower surface of a floor finish material 12. In this mounting space, a lower frame mounting piece 14 for window sash is installed on the upper surface of the side joist 7 with screws 18, and an attachment 13 pressing the end part of the floor finish material 12 is locked to a partition plate 6 installed on the indoor side of the lower frame of the window sash so that the height difference of the lower frame at the entrance to the opening part can be eliminated.
