PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine control device of a forklift capable of improving the working efficiency by preventing a movement of a lift device unexpected of an operator after a vertical automatic stop of a mast and after an automatic stop in a lifting height. SOLUTION: In a work machine control device of a forklift having an operation lever 26 for operating a work machine 1, an automatic stop control button 27 installed on the operation lever 26, a means 17 for detecting that the operation lever 26 is a neutral position, a means 14 for detecting an automatically stopping position of the work machine 1 and a control part 25 for outputting a stopping signal of the work machine 1 when detecting the automatically stopping position of the work machine 1 when the automatic stop control button 27 is pushed when operating the lever, the control part 25 holds output of this stopping signal up to detecting that the operation lever 26 returns to the neutral position after outputting the stopping signal of the work machine 1.
