PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection circuit against an excess voltage input that is added to an operational amplifier of an inverting amplifier configuration and fabricated monolithicaly on a silicon wafer and to provide the operational amplifier of the inverting amplifier configuration provided with the protection circuit and a current sensor module. SOLUTION: The protection circuit of this invention is a circuit that protects the input terminal of the operational amplifier of the inverting amplifier configuration from over-voltage and consists of a constant current circuit to generate a reference voltage, a constant voltage circuit configured by using the reference voltage and an npn transistor(TR), and operate by being connected to the input terminal of the operational amplifier.
