PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a strongly acidic solution which has been used so as to remove marine algae (so-called miscellaneous algae) attached to the surface of leaf body of laver except laver and bacteria to cause disease damages during culture of laver. SOLUTION: One, two or the whole three of an inorganic salt such as salt, etc., an oxidizing substance such as potassium permanganate, etc., and a nutrient for laver such as amino acid, etc., are used not only in the acidic solution used for these purposes but also in a neutral and an alkali solution so that miscellaneous algae and pathogenic bacteria are removed.
