PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakwater which can be applied to a sea area where the wave height is relatively small and the ground is soft and good workability can be obtained at a low cost together with sea water replacement possible. SOLUTION: A framed structural body which can be placed on sea bottom ground, a front wall portion 6 provided in a sloped state from the front to the rearward which is separated at constant intervals from the bottom end portion of the framed structural body to the framed structural body, and a rear wall portion 11 located at the rear portion of the framed structural body set lower than the front wall portion 6 are provided.
