PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new oaring exercise device useful for strengthening and training mainly user's legs. SOLUTION: The device consists of an installing base panel (10) for fixing the device to a floor surface (F) or for allowing a user to ride the device standing, a fixing stand (12) vertically standing integrally from the panel 10, a swivel support (14) which is pivotally supported and is rotatable relative to the stand (12) in a fixed angular state (θ), a rotary operation arm (30) for the swivel support of a fixed length (L) pivotally supported via an orthogonal supporting point pin (32) to the support (14), and a braking body (B) for giving rotational resistance to the support (14). A user in a posture standing on the floor surface (F) or the panel (10) grasps and holds one end part of the arm (30) with both of his/her hands and repeats the operation of pushing it forward and pulling it backward.
