PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the eyewire of a spectacle frame, which is an eyewire to be fitted with lenses and is adapted so as not to exert undue stress on the grooves formed on the outer peripheries of the lenses. SOLUTION: The eyewire 1 consists of a plate material, on which fitting parts 5, 5, etc., are formed here and there, by notching its inner periphery. The fitting parts 5, 5, etc., are fitted into the lens grooves 5, with which the lenses 9 are fastened to the eyewire 1.
